Trying to fit in so many things…

This week has been crazy. At the beginning of my mission, I had problems with waking up in the middle of the night. Now, I just don’t think I get enough sleep. We’re going several extra miles and trying to fit in so many things into one day. We have about 20 investigators at the moment. We’ve been trying hard to solidify them, but there’s a decent amount of digging and dunging and pruning and weeding we need to do with our current pool. We have a couple of really solid investigators though. There are three African families we’re working with at the moment. All three of them have a lot of potential. One would be baptized already, but his mom doesn’t speak English, and has a concern about being re-baptized that’s hard to adress because we can’t really communicate well. I don’t know how anything gets done in that house to be honest, the Mom only speaks Dinka, but the kids only really speak English. The other family seems like they want to be baptized, but they need to come to church a couple more times first. They should be good for it soon though. The last family is a little more difficult. The mom there doesn’t really speak English either, but would be fine if her kids are baptized. The kids had a bad experience at church though, and they’ve kind of turned off afterwards. There’s still one who seems like she’s willing to give church another chance, but in the meantime, the other kids just listen to us teach but don’t want to do anything about it.

I also got to help ordain two people to the Melchezidek preisthood this week. One was the convert I baptized when I first got here! That was really cool. The other one is named Raymond, who I’ve gotten pretty close to recently. I have loved it.

I also got to see Merimbula again! Well, not the area, but the people. They all came up for stake conference. That was probably the highlight of the week. All the kids have gotten so much bigger, and the Shoobridges have another kid now! We’re planning on going down soon, and I can’t wait!

Well, That’s it from me. It’s been a great week. Love you heaps.
